The emotion I chose to shoot is restriction.  I styled my outfit (button up and tie) to fit those elements. I used ties as a metaphor, to physically restrict me, symbolizing how my masculinity was restricted from the shame I felt. I used inspiration from photographers like Elizaveta Porodina for her color and lighting style, and paulina Washington for editing. Porodina edits with high value contrast and sets up her lighting to have minimal shadows. Washington edited her photos to have a double exposure effect, which is what I did in photoshop, to mimic movement or a little ruffle from being restricted.
